Chest of drawers in walnut and burl walnut with poplar structural elements
Central Italy, second half of the XVII century

Chest of drawers with notched corners, with front divided into five drawers, supported on bracket feet closed on the sides. The structure is made of poplar wood and covered with a rooted walnut veneering, finished with solid walnut frames, which show: the four large drawers, the rectangular wooden mirror on each side, accompanied corner pilasters projecting from the base, the top and the crown framing the top drawer, that in fact is not framed.

Furniture dating from the second half of the seventeenth century, coming from the area of central Italy, between Umbria and Marche.
